This system, developed by George E. Adamy, combines a
high-quality acrylic polymer additive, Polyadam II or PII, portland
cement, sand, and glass scrim, an alkali-resistant, fiberglass reinforcing
material that's compatible with cementitious products. The resulting
structures are strong, lightweight, and weather resistant, and, unlike a
resin-based fiberglass system, the materials are nontoxic. |
